This was really driving me crazy! Now she is trying to push herself into the golden light and feel some kind of inspiration!
Oh how I wish I had this and was better at that and etc.....
This exercise is really interesting. There are ups and downs. Sometimes I am stoked to sit down and draw other times I complete my drawing and think maybe I should have a garage sale and sell all of my art supplies. Today is just one of those days.

I just got back from spending the weekend in New York. It was a fun filled weekend with my family and friends. Through all the activity I made time for my drawing of the day!! Hoot -Hoot :)
DAY 11 - Mentally Exhausted
After traveling through the night , tossing and smacking my head on the window of the plane. I made back to SF in time to take a nap and go to work. I'm in need of sleep!
DAY 10 - Peek-a-boo
Inspired by the jungle of planets that live in my mother's living room.

I have been asked to take this challenge with some of my fellow art buddies. The challenge is to do a drawing a day for 50 days on 6in.x6in. paper. I began yesterday 9/10/10.
I figure this is going to be a great challenge and great discipline to sit down at my drafting table and draw! Like a meditation.I am looking forward to this.
This is my first drawing-Rocket. Inspired by fun with a friend, Goldfrapp, San Francsico's Rocketship that overlooks the waterfront and just being inspired by life to be ridiculous and have fun. So I am blasting off with this challenge. Let's see where it takes me!!

I had so much fun doing the last painting of him, I decided to do another one. Here is the beginning.
This is the completed Mickey rourke piece from the movie Iron Man 2. I love how he looks like he has the glowing orange Jersey Shore spray on tan.
Here is the latest version of the Mickey Rourke piece I am doing.
I have dusted off the old acrylics and took out my paint brushes and I am painting again. This picture is from a frame of Iron Man 2 of Mickey Rourke. After falling in his career he picked himself up and has carved a new path for himself in world of movie making. I respect that. I find his character so intriguing.
